Spring/Summer Sunglass Trends

I don't know about you but I must own about 8 pairs of sunglasses and STILL can't resist trying on a few pairs each time I am in a store.  We're anxiously awaiting a bunch of new designs from D'blanc this season.  We've been following the trends and are happy to relay some of our findings along to you!
We know how important it is to complete your spring outfit with just the perfect accessories.  From beach bags to bangles, accessories make that look, but nothing makes the look just right like a pair of some stylish shades!
D'blanc sunglasses have been giving us peeks of their latest catalogue and let me tell you, we're excited and envious of their sunset beach photo shoot in the Bahamas and fun new frames for him and her!
Here is out round of the top trends to expect this season in the sunglass world.

1. Fun Colors

We've been seeing frames straying from the typical tortious and black acetate frames to awesome rose and sky blues and every color in between.  We've been loving some of the new delicate colors hitting the beaches early this year. Some of my personal favorites are the new Afternoon Delight colors. We are stocking some of the best sellers, but if you visit Dblanc.com you can see some of the other new styles too!

2. Clubmaster

We love this vintage look and so glad its back trending in Hollywood! Rayban club masters hit the top of the charts last season and the look is still going strong this season.  We are featuring 2 styles from Shwood that give something a bit more unique than the typical Rayban on the market.  Shwood's claim to fame is their wooden frames.  But these new styles take the classic metal frames with subtle touches of wood from walnut to ebony.  The Eugene and the Newport rock that club master look.  The Eugene has wood on the bridge and the arms where the new port is mostly acetate with some subtle wood touches on the temples.  Either style you go with, you'll look like a old hollywood actor in no time!

 3. Mirrored Tortoise Shell Sunglasses

Okay I'll admit, this is my favorite trend this season.  I love a classic tortiose frame.  It looks good on everyone from blondes to brunettes and is one of the bet sellers in store. The mirror frames remind me of my old sports frames i rocked during softball games in the summer.  You can also get away with eyeing those cuties a lot easier too! I've been so tempted by the Vast Minority from D'blanc.  These bad boys just look sporty but so fashion forward all in the same frame.  This is a unisex pair that has the large size frame that blocks out all the sun! For another style, check out the Guilty Pleasure available from D'blanc directly for now.

4. Cat-Eye Sunglasses

Cat-eye style hit the market and sunk its "claws" in to stay! This larger than life style frame, with sass to spare, is going to be a summer staple.  The cat-eye shape is a classic. But this season, the style was reinvented with sharper edges. For a sophisticated, more modern style, add an angular pair to your look and be sure to pull back your hair for that runway look. D'blanc has teased us with the new frames coming this April that you'll go gaga for and we'll soon have available online.  And Shwood has the Hayden, Ainsworth and one that we stock called the Mckenzie.

5. Round Metal Frames

The 70s are coming back! Classic round metal frames are BACK! Add a rose tinted lens and you'll be the hottest hipster in no time!  This look seems to be really popular among women right now.  Boho babes are eating up this look.  D'blanc can't keep 'em in stock. The Sonic Bloom and The End pair so well with cut off shorts and crochet vests. We've heard they may have some new styles on the horizon soon too! So stay tuned and keep checking back with us for updates!
